Yet another New Year is upon us. It certainly snuck up on me! I have been noticeably absent from blogging, Twitter and Facebook (although that's not always a bad thing). I enjoyed spending time with family during the month of December, including a trip to Ohio to visit the parental units and my sister at Christmas. It was a wonderful time!
And then there's work. Wow, what a change of pace. I do miss my comrades at Emergency Services, but I am really enjoying the challenges at GM911. We have a great team and always plenty to do. I'm still getting my feet wet and learning the ropes, but after a month, I am feeling more and more comfortable with the position. I'm sure I'll have some good stories to post soon.
The family is doing well. Everyone is healthy and enjoying the holiday break... although Carol and I are ready for school to start back up! :) The kids enjoyed their Christmas and are now ready for some more snow days. And with all this cold weather, all we need is a little moisture...
